THE SENSEMAKER (French version)
DANCE THEATRE AND PHYSICAL COMEDY
The relationship between a woman and an high-tech answering machine and her desperation in being unable to comply with its requests.
A critical exploration of the impact of new technologies on our daily lives. A performance that combines theatre, dance and mime. Comic but disturbing at the same time, ‘The Sensemaker’ highlights our limits in obeying a set of artificial rules created by a system which increasingly distant and inhuman.
Winner of the “Outstanding Theatre Award” – Edinburgh Fringe 2019.
Performance Award FISICO 2020 (Alba International Physical Theatre Festival)
‘The Sensemaker’ is basically unclassifiable. It ranges from the hilariously funny to the toe-curlingly embarrassing and the downright disturbing… a piece of mime which can get very noisy indeed. It is both a dream and a nightmare.
