VIRGINIE is a 17 year-old student who recently moved with her family to a city in Minnesota, USA. She is an introvert girl with a big dream: becoming a singer.
Confronted with a new reality and the difficulty to adapt to new surroundings, she falls for her music teacher. In an attempt to impress him, she takes a video of herself on TikTok, hoping to get his attention. However, what started off as an innocent flirtation turns into a real nightmare as one of her class mates modifies the video thanks to deepfake technology. She quickly becomes the object of mockery and hateful comments from her peers.
Overcome by shame and guilt, she cannot seem to find a way out of the tunnel of depression that seems to surround her…
