Magda offers a first rate, fantastic solo performance enacted through the Lecoq methodologies – shifting through a vast array of emotional and physical states that came to define and impact German women as a result of the Russian occupation of post-WWII Berlin. Magda’s acting rings very true and lives in the moment as if that moment was a new encounter each time. Tom’s concept, direction, and writing are all very high level and well executed. As a viewer one would certainly benefit from some prior reading up on the history of the aftermath or WWII as it affected Berlin. Highly recommend, especially to those seeking physical performances made in the Lecoq typology.
